FAQ

AT WHAT AGE CAN YOU JOIN AZOV?

You can join the 12th Brigade Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine from the age of 18.

HOW LONG DOES THE BASIC COMBAT TRAINING COURSE LAST?

The BCTC lasts approximately 4-5 weeks. We take great care in training our personnel, thoroughly preparing recruits for combat missions. For the NGU Azov Brigade, professionalism, unit coordination, and the value of each individual soldier have always been priorities.

IF I TRANSFER TO THE UNIT, DO I STILL NEED TO COMPLETE THE BCTC?

Military personnel transferring to our brigade must pass entry-level fitness standards. If they fail, they must undergo the BCTC.

What type of contract and for how long?

Mobilization lasts until the end of martial law. If a recruit transfers from another unit where they have an active contract, the contract is transferred to the NGU Azov Brigade.

  1. Copy of passport (all pages); if it’s an ID card, include the supplement.
  2. Copy of taxpayer identification number (TIN).
